Our Philosophy

We understand that many people may feel anxious when first contacting a lawyer, and that you are coming to us because you need help.  Our focus is on understanding your problem and providing the legal guidance and help you need.

Stephanie is experienced in handling complex divorces, including child custody disputes, child support, spousal support, and the division of marital property and debt. She also handles simple no-fault divorces and the negotiation and drafting of separation agreements. Stephanie assists clients who are victims of domestic abuse in obtaining family Protective Orders.  She also defends those clients who have had petitions for Protective Orders and claims of family abuse filed against them.

Stephanie also has extensive experience in handling criminal matters from simple traffic charges and misdemeanors to serious felony charges.  That representation includes possession of marijuana, felony drug charges, DUI, underage possession of alcohol, traffic charges, shoplifting, assault and battery, aggravated assault, grand larceny, robbery, and homicide, among other criminal charges.  She handles cases at all stages of the criminal proceedings, including bond hearings, preliminary hearings, suppression hearings, and jury or bench trials. Stephanie also helps clients with probation violations, expunging criminal records and having their driver's licenses restored.

Stephanie works with clients to help educate them about their legal rights and responsibilities, to bring a professional focus to the problem at hand, and to help find the best options and legal strategies to meet her clients' needs.
